350 step pins, 700 m of steel cable, 185 anchors and two ladders, that is the Via ferrata Diavolo. The name of the trail probably comes from the fact that the clever people of Uri tricked the devil when building the Täufelsbrücke. A dropout at the beginning repels tourists in shoes, benches provide comfortable resting places and the necessary rest. A Grade 2 (B+) VF of 480m (but with at least 2 rest places) above the Devil's Bridge nr. Andermatt. Great views which get better the higher you go. Child friendly & good for beginners, but long (no emergency exits) plus exposed so can be hot in the summer, as well as busy (slow).
