Hiking

The Marienbrunnen by the Chilean artist Maria Jesus Fernandez-Ortiz has adorned the church square in front of the Propstei parish church of St. Mary's Assumption in Jülich since 1998. A bronze column crowned by the Madonna rises above the octagonal fountain basin. Reliefs arranged in a spiral on the column tell the history of the city of Jülich and its immediate surroundings.
