In the oldest village in Saxony, the historic Petersbrücke, a pedestrian bridge between Schlossberg and Kirchberg, has to be closed. Reason: There is an acute danger of collapse. Where the Count once strolled to church services, the motto for the foreseeable future is: at least be careful, today it was no longer "entry prohibited". The Kirchbrücke or Petersbrücke in Püchau is Saxony's oldest stone arch bridge. The church bridge was built in 1564 and is part of the historical center of Püchau. Even today, the coats of arms of those from Ende and from Ziegler bear witness to the builders.
