The castle was built around 1580. At the end of the 17th century, the Baroque garden was added. The main avenue leads to the castle and leads over a staircase with baroque fountain cascade to the elevated terrace, on which originally a Baroque new building was planned, but which was omitted for cost reasons. It was u.a. used as a hunting lodge. From 1943 even as a plastic surgery clinic, which was dissolved in 1994.
