Deauville Racecourse

It is on the Deauville-La Touques racecourse that you can see the most races during the year! It thus deserves its nickname of “the 4 seasons” racecourse with its program of 42 days of Flat races, the discipline where all the speed of thoroughbreds is expressed. Its prestigious races (Group 1) and its training center with 450 horses year-round and 750 in summer attract elite riders and an international clientele.
This racecourse was the first, 17 years ago, to inaugurate a fiber-sand track, which allows it to organize races in winter. Its grass track takes over in the summer. Deauville–La Touques then hosts numerous races which have earned it its reputation, including the famous Rothschild Prize, Maurice de Gheest, Jacques Le Marois, Morny, Jean Romanet… and to close the summer season, the Deauville Grand Prix.
