Haría has a good bus connection (line 07) and serves as the starting or ending point of the route to/from Teguise.

The indigenous people first colonized the surrounding mountainous areas. Agriculture followed the course of the water to the Haría plateau. The city's heyday began after the disappearance of the farming areas in the northwest of the island due to volcanic eruptions, which lasted seven years from 1730. Haría became the most important commercial market next to the ancient capital, Teguise. Here, the island's population could supply themselves with grain, legumes, fruit and wine. The old terraces on the slopes and some wells are testimony to this era. Haría is full of quiet streets and roads, wonderful landscapes, tall palm trees, good restaurants and typical town festivals in summer.
