The St. Jodokus Church was consecrated on August 17th by Cologne Auxiliary Bishop Johannes Spender in 1485. Before that there was a chapel here, which was mentioned in 1173. The place name Keppeln goes back to this chapel.
The church square is beautifully designed and invites you to linger.
