Between 1906 and 1907, the manufacturer Carl Marx had built a villa opposite the city park with an Art Nouveau garden. He had a botanical garden built with about 550 varieties of roses, 200 rhododendron species, 50 species of barberry. The villa is unfortunately very in need of renovation
