The Getzbach rises in the high moor of the so-called Brackvenn, in an area around the N 67 Monschau - Eupen, near the German state border at Mützenich and flows into the Wesertalsperre, where it, together with the water of the Hill, flows through a 1.5 km long tunnel is brought up, which forms the Getzbach arm.
The swampy headwaters of the Getzbach with its water-filled palsen is located in the nature reserve with limited access. Since May 2010, the headwaters in northern Brackvenn have been inhabited by numerous beaver families, whose activities in the sense of renaturing the former swamp landscape are causing a backwater of the water that is quite desirable today.

The Bracker Venn is a raised bog in the High Fens, Belgium. A large part of the bog can be explored via footbridges. Grassy areas are everywhere, crisscrossed by small streams or lakes.

It's best not to leave the footbridges. The Belgians don't take a joke here.

The color of the creek is fascinating.
