Bathing area with barbecue area, a bit of sandy beach, a few benches and a kind of "bus hut" (although it is not a bus stop, the hut faces the lake). The site is popular in summer and is often used for swimming and camping.
The Gümser See is a rather long, but not very wide lake (it almost looks like a river).
Two villages border the Gümser See, the village of Gümse on the southern side of the lake (the bathing area is also located here) and the village of Seedorf on the northern side of the lake.

Small, but really nice swimming spot in Gümse. In the summer quite busy, because the locals go there. Still totally relaxed. And also at all other seasons always a nice stopover with a view of Lake Gümser.

A small lake, a bit hidden and with a few water lilies. If that doesn't bother you, you can find wonderful cooling here before heading back to Hitzacker.
