    Interesting works of art made of iron and stainless steel by Heinrich Kracke at the intersection at the so-called Hegekampsberg (see HAZ article in the local section Sehnde dated 24.03.2018).

      In 2017 the Bilm farmer and blacksmith Heinrich Kracke set up his wrought-iron work of art "Crucifixion of Christ" at the Eisenwinkel. It consists of the remains of old, unusable agricultural machinery and depicts the horror at the death of Christ. Kracke has taken the custom of the field cross, which is common in Catholic areas, as a model. There crosses are set up in the landscape to make the Christian faith visible. The relation to the material iron arises from the fact that the remains of an Iron Age furnace and thus signs of pre-Christian settlement were recently found nearby.
