In 1747 the estate was sold to Baron von Brabeck.
In 1812 the merchant Carl Heinrich Löbbecke acquired the estate together with the other Brabeck estates Haus Hemer, Klusenstein and Apricke.
The castle has been owned by the Belgian de Becker Remy family since 1902.
