This area was long characterized by the border tourism. On artistically designed panels you will learn more about landscape development, culture and nature highlights. Listen to the Froschufen in the observation hut or watch the black stork during the day and the bats in the evening. Enjoy the mosaic landscape, species-rich forests, ancient peat bogs and lowlands, and historic villages. Characteristic are the broad valleys with herb-rich meadows (herbal hay project). The special Kalkwasser from the Drawehn has also created orchid-rich moor mountains here.
