St. Wenceslaus Parish Church Litzendorf

The baroque parish church of St. Wenceslas in Litzendorf was built in its present form from 1715 - 1718 under the well-known master builder Johann Dientzenhofer. It is certain that today's church had two predecessors in the same place. The predecessor building of today's church had to be demolished, as a restoration was no longer worthwhile. The coat of arms of Prince-Bishop Franz von Schönborn, which still exists today, was placed above the main entrance. Together with the magnificent baroque rectory, the golden-yellow church with iron sandstone blocks is clearly visible from afar.

At the beginning of October there are always wonderful classical "candlelight concerts".

In the late afternoon hours, the parish church and rectory offer a wonderfully "radiant" ensemble.
