Hiking
One of the largest amphitheaters of the Roman world. Unbelievably impressive location: smoking Etna as part of the set, wonderful views of the historic old town and the bay and coastline to the other side. The theater itself is definitely worth it anyway. Due to the size even with large crowds at the box office still plenty of space and good visibility in the theater. Audioguide is worthwhile.

Built on a smaller Greek predecessor Roman theater, several times rebuilt and partially restored. History is one thing, but it should be this sensational view of the coast around Naxos and Mount Etna, which attracts the most visitors and makes the place undoubtedly a must-see, even against 10 € entrance (if you do not catch a free day) ,
