    Cycling

On the hill, visible from afar and a little closer to the sky, the small parish church of St. Nikolaus Berg. At the same time, a vantage point with a magnificent view of the city, the lake and the Alps. Many hikers are drawn up there to linger in the church in quiet contemplation.

First mentioned in 1275, in 1520 the church was built in place of a castle chapel. The church was expanded several times over the centuries.

In 1645 the pastor of Berg, Dean Augustin Rogg, was kidnapped by the soldiers of Hohentwiel and the church burned down.
