Valuable testimonies of our ancestors find a valuable continuation in Etsdorf in the 21st century. On the way to the asphalt chapel, the so-called "Crosses Trail" has been in existence since 2009 with exciting and unusually designed artists' crosses. The custom of setting signs of faith, remembrance, gratitude, admonition or joy along the way has been preserved for countless generations since the Middle Ages. Then as now, these small monuments have great personal significance for us humans. They tell of the fates of individuals, families, communities or an entire region.
