Port of Palma de Mallorca

The port of Palma is the largest of all the facilities managed by the port authority of the Balearic Islands and is located in the middle of the city, right in front of the labyrinthine old town. The harbor is lined from one end to the other by the waterfront, for which land was literally reclaimed from the sea in the 1960s, and is divided into four clear areas: the trading piers, the east piers, the docks for pleasure craft and the west dam. Services are offered here that have enabled the port, despite spatial restrictions, to establish itself as one of the most important cruise ports in the entire Mediterranean region.
