The Royal Park Theater (French: Théâtre Royal du Parc) is the second oldest Brussels theater still in use. It was initially created as part of the 'Waux-Hall' of Brussels, an entertainment complex located in the Warande Park. Initially it was mainly used for performances of the lighter repertoire such as vaudeville. In the second half of the 19th century, it grew into the most prominent French-speaking scene in the Belgian capital. Famous French actors such as Sarah Bernhardt or François Coppée were regularly on stage
