The 91.7 km long Finnewanderweg is a long-distance hiking trail in central Germany. It leads from Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt along the Saale-Unstrut valley over the crest of the Finne and the Hohe Schrecke to the Unstrut breakthrough valley in Sachsenburg in Thuringia, which is also known as the Thuringian Gate.

The Finnewanderweg is an approx. 89 km long long-distance hiking trail that leads from Weißenfels to the Unstrut valley near Sachsenburg. The name is a bit misleading, because passing the fin is only part of this long-distance tour. Essentially, it follows the northern edge of the Thuringian Basin and connects these mountain ranges with the Saale valley between Saaleck+Rudelsburg and Weißenfels.
