The Ilse column, also called Ilse-Pfeiffer, is located on the north side of the Marienkirche. The column bears the mutilated representation of Christ on the cross, on the right Mary, on the left the Apostle John. The tools of torture can still be seen on the side surfaces.

Today it stands on the north-east side of St. Mary's Church. It was originally located on the estate wall of the economist Pfeiffer in Gorknitz. He was also called "Ilsen-Pfeiffer" after the now dried-up Ilsebach that flows past his estate. This is how the column got its nickname.
The column bears the now completely mutilated depiction of Christ on the cross, with Mary on the right and the apostle John on the left. The instruments of torture can still be seen on the sides.
