After the village had been relocated, the former church was demolished at the old location and rebuilt a little further away in half-timbering in 1691, destroyed by fire. 1915 rebuilt in brick with apse, west tower and arcades in front of the south entrance in the home style neo-Romanesque with expressionistic elements.

The evangelical village church in Bälow, a part of Rühstädt in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg, was built in 1914/15 with parts of the previous building from 1661. The church on Bälower Dorfstraße is a protected architectural monument.The brick masonry hall was built according to the plans of the royal building councilor Georg Büttner. The south entrance is integrated into a sign. The rectangular tower is completed by a pointed helmet.
