Hiking

The NSG Niederhofer Holz in Dortmund is a natural highlight that is characterized by its diverse flora and fauna. With a size of 168 hectares, it offers natural beech forests, deciduous, pine and larch forests. The beech stands, which are over 180 years old, and the historical ruins of ammunition depots from the Second World War are particularly interesting. Niederhofer Holz is an exciting excursion destination for nature lovers and history buffs.
