The Abbey Bridge is considered to be one of the first reinforced concrete bridges in Germany and leads to the Isle of Youth in the Berlin district of Alt-Treptow as a pedestrian crossing. It was completed in 1916 and replaced a ferry that took visitors to the Spree Island. The bridge is a listed building.

The park and island were expanded and filled in preparation for the Berlin Trade Fair in 1896. The island, initially called "Treptower Bruch", was given the name Abbey Island after the opening of a tourist restaurant designed as a Scottish monastery ruin ("Abbey"). Because the Abbey Inn burned down in 1914 and its remains were demolished, the Viennese architect and civil engineer Friedrich von Emperger was able to plan a reinforced concrete bridge with a spacious bridge house on behalf of the then city of Neukölln, the owner of the island.
