Castle ruins above the old town of Bernkastel with an eventful history. The destruction of the castle was not achieved by attacking troops but by a large fire. Today the walls contain a restaurant with approx. 100 seats. Reachable via a footpath (approx. 30 min) or with the Burg-Landshut-Express.
