Good preparation is already half the fun for the upcoming Dolomites tour in mid-June 😉 I always find the ups and downs, the trails & root paths around the Hohenwarte reservoir perfectly suited for this. It was a lot of fun again and there were many funny mountains, e.g. the long ascent to the Wichtelpfad

Heute wurde mir ein Pupertier geliehen und wir fuhren eine ähnliche Runde wie am Vortag, mit leichten Änderungen (um Straße zu vermeiden), und anderen Eissorten, und längerer Schlange, um an der Linkenmühle ans heiße Eis zu gelangen 😉. Kurz & knackig - heiß auf Eis! 🚴🏻
Zu heiß für irgendwas, deshalb eine kurze Vormittagsrunde, zum Mittag gab's kaltes (H)eis an der Linkenmühle. Da ja im Juni noch Größeres ansteht, wurden auch einige Höhenmeter mitgenommen.

Today we packed a few highlights into our round, one sea of flowers chased the other: Troll flowers, firethorn, wild peonies. In between, wet and cheerful mud battles and a bit of up & down.
