A new biotope, about 16 hectares in size, is to be created here on the Flüthe weir.
At the moment it is wonderful to watch the construction progress, but soon it will certainly become a wonderful oasis near the Kiessee.

A diverse wetland habitat is to be created on a leash.

As part of the implementation of the measures, among other things, a softwood alluvial forest, flood channels, hollows and depressions as elements of the floodplain relief, several shallow water pools, ponds and extensive grassland are created in close cooperation with the Leineverband. A bird observation point and an adventure trail are planned for interested citizens.
