  • The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. Jacobi in Göttingen's old town is a three-nave Gothic hall church built between 1361 and 1433. Church patron is James the Elder. At 72 meters high, the church tower is the tallest building in Göttingen's old town. The Gothic winged altar from 1402, which is located in the choir of the church, is of national importance.

  • Gothic masterpiece built between 1361 and 1459 and one of the most important buildings in Göttingen. The interior was restored in 1998/99 based on the Renaissance model and equipped with five new motif windows. It houses a valuable double-winged altar that was created in 1402 by an unknown master.
