This building, the former Hünnefeld death house, built in 1752, was donated in 1935 by Clamor Freiherr von dem Bussche-Hünnefeld to the Bad Essen community for the erection of a memorial. In the building there is a sandstone block with the names of the fallen soldiers of World War II.
