Goethe Hut

The gem fell victim to the flames at the end of December 2014 and was later rebuilt in the same style and in the same location by the Bad Essen beautification association.

The hut is of cultural and historical importance because it was built on the 100th anniversary of Goethe's death as a combination of monument and refuge. With the Goethe quotes, she not only entertains those passing by, but also offers hikers and walkers shelter in the rain.

Below the hut starts a beautiful MTB descent.

The Göthe Hütte is located in the middle of the forest. A place to linger and take a breather. The history of the hut is explained on a sign and you can make yourself comfortable on various benches and just enjoy nature.
