The Hinterwaldkopf with its bare summit offers in good visibility an incredible panorama all around, Dreisamtal, Feldberg, Kandel, Vosges, ... are visible.
However, I myself have never experienced the summit calm, that is. If you are athletic on the road and sweaty top arrives, you should change into dry clothes or cover a windbreak. For a short time, however, the stone wall around the summit area offers a little protection.translated by•April 3, 2018
