Chata Luž or Gasthaus Lausche or whatever: this is just as worthwhile a destination as it is a good starting point or a recommended place for a rest. Just the term mining building, which is sometimes used, could lead to the false expectation that the building is actually on the Lausche.
In addition to food and drink, there is also a large parking lot and the opportunity for some leisure activities. Several hiking trails intersect. And last but not least, the way to the Lausche from here is no longer as strenuous as from Waltersdorf. There are “only” about 150 meters left to climb.

Very cozy hut with a large beer garden. Fast and friendly service who serve home-made dishes. We highly recommend the homemade bread roll with the soup of the day and a cool blond one with it.
