In this clearing stands a massive, rounded stone with bosses, a medallion and inscriptions. It is the forestry memorial, which was erected in 1921 in memory of the forestry workers who died in World War I. The memorial was later supplemented by several sandstone columns bearing the names of the forestry workers who died in World War II.
