Cerignale Panoramic Route

A magnificent road that seems made especially for cyclists.

The Panoramica Cerignale branches off shortly after Ponte Organasco in Trebbiatal from the large, very nice to drive SS45 and climbs neatly demanding through the village Cerignale to climb the ridge between Trebbia and Avetotal. In a curve you circle this mountain ridge, driving on a narrow, practically traffic-free road higher and higher, sees the confluence of Trebbia and Avetotal at Marsaglia, and then have the wild Avetotal far below in view with spectacular road guidance. The section ends at an intersection just before the Passo Monte Veri, where you have the opportunity to drive over the said pass and the Valico del Pescino in the Avetotal or back down to Ottone in Trebbiatal.

if you want to take a break along the climb, here you can refill your water bottle, and there is a bakery with excellent bread with local cured meats and cheeses.
