I prefer the climb from the Perino side for the simple fact that the descent towards Bobbio has a very well-kept asphalt. The climb is quite challenging, my Garmin gave me peaks even at 13%.

Road cycling

Arrived from Bobbio, go up towards Coli and take a fantastic climb. The first 12 km are "pedaled" and on an excellent road surface. The last 2.6 km are really hard, almost never below 10% even above 15%. Once you reach the top you are rewarded for the effort: it seems to be in a pasture ....

You can also go up from Perino, follow for Aglio and Pradovera and then take advantage of the perfect asphalt from Coli to Bobbio to go down with pleasure. Highly recommended.
