Old town hall until 1975. Late Gothic building, alterations in 1565, 1796 and 1863.
The building with the red facade and small turret was acquired by the city administration in 1474 and served as the town hall until 1975. On the ground floor and first floor it has Gothic vaults, beamed ceilings and stone door frames. Since its complete renovation in 2002, the historic building has been used by clubs and educational institutions. On the second floor, the so-called Rottmayr Hall, with a painting acquired in 2004 by the baroque painter Johann Michael Rottmayr from Laufen, provides a stylish setting for cultural events.
