From the bridge you have a very nice view of the Havel and the city of Havelberg.

The Havel is around 335 in length, making it the longest right-hand tributary of the Elbe. The distance from the source to the mouth is only 92 km as the crow flies. Your source is in Ankershagen - a municipality in the Neustrelitz district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on the northern edge of the Müritz National Park.
Then it flows through Brandenburg, Berlin, where the Spree flows into the river in the Spandau district, then it flows through Saxony-Anhalt to the border between Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt - but again on Brandenburg territory - about 11.5 km to the north Havelberg flows into the Elbe.
During this stretch it flows almost parallel to the Elbe, from which it is separated by the central dike with the Elbe Cycle Path.goruma.de/staedte/havelberg/sehenswuerdheiten
