    Häss Wellkumme,
A piece of the heart of Cologne lives in the Hänneschen Theater – since 1802.
We play all year round for children and adults. You can experience six new productions with us in one season. That's around 270 performances.
All pieces are written and performed in Kölsch. Our ensemble leads the stick puppets themselves - speaks, sings and plays live. The music is also handmade. Un what morjens passeet, kutt ovennds op et tapet.
See you "em Hännesche"! Have fun!

You can't really appreciate this theater just by passing by; it's only when you see a play that you know how great it is. Shame on WDR for no longer showing the wonderful puppet session.
