Sunny Saturday in Zonhoven.
Discovering De Wijers and the Wijvenheide in good company.
However, our adventure was short-lived.
Swarms of mosquitoes and other biting insects targeted the many visitors.
The ruminating Large grazers and Maria van Bijstand left us firmly in the lurch.
Forced and seriously irritated, we prematurely stopped our discovery.
The further discovery of the ‘Land of 1001 Ponds’ will be for another time.
