At the foot of the rock on which the rebuilt Chinese house is located, a crevice at the end of the grotto was artificially widened and around 1800 an aeolian or wind harp was installed. Even when the wind was low you could hear the harp sounding down into the valley. After the trees grew tall and the necessary air movement was lacking, the harp had become ineffective. A few years ago, sponsored by a citizen of Liebenstein (Wolfgang Schütz), a replica was donated and installed.
