The stork tower is on the other side of the Jagst on the slope opposite the monastery. The ruin is rather inconspicuous and not accessible.
However, from up here there is a beautiful view of the monastery complex! A bench invites you to linger or generally the meadow around the tower for a picnic.

This observation tower from the 14th/15th century was used by the monks of the former Cistercian abbey as well as the knight Götz von Berlichingen and his companions to detect dangers early. From here you have a panoramic view of the monastery, the Jagst valley and Götz von Berlichingen Castle in Jagsthausen.
