Always along the dyke. Every now and then drive over it, stop and enjoy the view of and over the Elbe. Be careful at the barriers. Make sure to drive slowly here and go around them from the side. Watch out for oncoming traffic! This route is not exactly a "race track". More something for "slowing down".

Road cycling

Very good track: the entire route is paved with beautiful, wide concrete slabs. It's a great ride. You ride behind the dike and therefore can't see the Elbe. However, there are also very nice views over the lowlands.
