This modern stylistic bridge construction is the gateway to the De Sahara nature and hiking area. It is also a resting point for cycling tourists on their route along the Kempens Canal.
This unique pedestrian bridge is located along the cycle path to the Blauwe Kei, which is part of the Limburg cycle route network.
But the bridge and the nearby spawning pond are also an added attraction for walkers. The S-shaped version with a beautiful combination of steel and wood, suspended from two steel pylons, allows the pedestrian bridge to blend in almost completely with the surrounding greenery.
