Hiking

Until 1967, the site was used by the explosives factory PRB (Poudreries Réunies de Belgique) to conduct tests with anti-personnel mines, military ammunition and other explosive projectiles. The remains of the structures are still present. In this round pit explosives were detonated that were no longer to be used. Explosives were also tested for use in coal mines.
