There is also a ruin of an extermination pit, a structure with a diameter of about 10 meters in which superfluous ammunition was broken down. As well as the original concrete safety pyramids, which were supposed to stop shrapnel and cannonballs.

Hiking

Until 1967, the site was used by the explosives factory PRB (Poudreries Réunies de Belgique) to conduct tests with anti-personnel mines, military ammunition and other explosive projectiles. The remains of the structures are still present. In this round pit explosives were detonated that were no longer to be used. Explosives were also tested for use in coal mines.
