Hiking Highlight (Segment)
Beautiful hiking trail in the shine of Strahlenburg, which is also suitable for children. We went the lap today with 3 guys between the ages of 3 to 6 years. The interesting Kuhberg route guidance (which is also attractive for geocachers!) Completes the route. After the barefoot path we took the short cut uphill - that was sometimes exhausting and at the end the children needed help (for about 5m) to get back on the regular way, because the path was completely blocked by trees.

The Strahlenburg is probably the only managed facility in connection with this unique unobstructed view of the Rhine plain along the mountain route. Depending on the weather, you can see foothills of the Black Forest and probably the Vosges, or the Donnersberg u. m. m. in the Pfalz. The spiers of the Speyer Cathedral can also be seen. Sometimes it is possible to see church towers in the Palatinate villages on the Haardt slope a few times a year. A worthwhile walk through the new vineyards -Riesling- after land consolidation on different paths towards Dossenheim shows up; here is the heart of the Electoral Palatinate.
