Hiking
This typical cart path was part of a cross-connection system between the eastern and western parts of the island, separated by the Cumbre ridge. On gradients of up to 30%, the oxen harnessed to carts had to pull the farmers' and craftsmen's goods up. Today a wildly romantic regional hiking route with spooky effects in reduced light (dense foliage).
