From the Braunschweiger Hütte, we ascend to the Pitztaler Jochköpfle at around 3,000 meters. Afterwards, the path leads down into the glacier ski area of Sölden.
After a short bus ride through the glacier tunnel, we hike from the Tiefenbach glacier on an impressive panoramic trail to Vent.

With a taxi bus, we travel over the Piller Höhenstraße to the starting point at Goglesalm at 2,017 meters.
A high-altitude hike leads us on to Galflunalm and Larcheralm, where we take a coffee break. Afterwards, we descend to Wenns im Pitztal.

We first climb up to Seescharte at 2,600 meters. From here, the long, scenically varied descent begins through the impressive Zammer Loch and Lochbachtal down to Zams at 780 meters. In between, we took a lunch break at the Unterlochalm.

After a short ascent, we reach the Mädelejoch at 1,975 meters and cross the border from Germany to Austria. Afterwards, we descend through the Höhenbachtal to Holzgau in the Lechtal.
On the way, we cross a 200 m long suspension bridge. In Holzgau, we take a lunch break with good food.

We started at the Wankbahn station in Garmisch and reached the Wankhaus via predominantly shady paths. In between, we made a detour to a scree field where we surfed down a bit. A wonderful day.
