These dragon teeth were built by the Germans in World War II as part of the Atlantic Wall.

These pyramid-shaped concrete obstacles served to stop enemy tanks that would arrive at the beach via a warship and landing craft. They were often used to supplement the tank wall of the Atlantic Wall.

Dragon's teeth were also used as an alternative to anti-tank ditches when the ground was not suitable for digging ditches.

Through the first rows of lower dragon's teeth, tanks were launched into the higher dragon's teeth, causing heavy damage or overturning of the tanks and forcing the crew to abandon the tank.
