As the name suggests, this is a very wet nature reserve, near Meerbeek. You can enjoy beautiful spring flora here and look for the kingfisher! The area is part of De Groene Vallei, an oasis of peace between the cities of Leuven, Brussels and Mechelen.De Rotte Gaten is a very marshy nature reserve that is only accessible through the construction of boardwalks. These are freely accessible to walkers all year round. The routes are only suitable for pushchairs with large wheels.Dogs welcome on a leash.
Sturdy walking shoes or boots recommended.
