Tips
In the 10th century, the abbey church of the Bergen Benedictine monastery was built on this site, which was dissolved in 1156. After that, the church was the house of worship for the local community. The Gothic choir dates from the 14th century, the Baroque nave from the 18th century. Inside is the late Gothic shrine altar "Maria and the four church fathers" from the late 15th century.
